Early detection depends on you

Infants born with a genetic disorder only have a 50% chance of surviving. 8 - 15% of infants lose their lives to undiagnosed genetic defects every year.

It does not have to be this way. Genetic disorders often can be treated, given that they are diagnosed at an early stage. An early diagnosis gives you adequate time to discuss treatment plans with your doctor and also mentally and financially prepare for it.
